VB-PUO is not a stand-alone data model: every entity, attribute and code list is an AFD 2.0 definition from SIVI's All Finance Data catalogue, assembled with the AFD Online Samenstellen (AOS) tool.
What that means for implementers
Field names are English and follow AFD conventions (entityType, refKey, organizationName); the translation table in the manual links the functional Dutch terms to them. Code lists are referenced by URL to sivi.org and shipped with the schemas per release. Changes in AFD 2.0 (such as the entityType corporateAction in April 2026) precede changes in VB-PUO.
Our advice
Whoever already knows AFD 2.0 reads VB-PUO as a composition; whoever does not only needs to follow the VB-PUO schemas and code lists.
