Consistency check

reserveIndicator without reserveType, or reserveType 99 without reserveDescription

Symptom

Under Release 2027 an error of the consistency check at reserveType. Under Release 2026 schema-valid, but the receiver cannot type the reserve and books it as an ordinary cohort; with reserveType 99 without a description it cannot tell which reserve is meant.

Cause

In the schema reserveType and reserveDescription are optional and SIVI's validationRules are empty. The final manual of Release 2027 lays down the consistency check: if reserveIndicator is true, reserveType is mandatory (section 6.3, repeated in section 3.2.5). reserveDescription is desired with reserveType 99 (Other) and possible with the other codes: with a named reserve type the code already says what the reserve is, as SIVI's own sample message shows.

Fix

With reserveIndicator = true always fill reserveType from AFDRES, and with reserveType 99 also reserveDescription. The WTP Data Lab validator reports a missing reserveType as an error for a Release 2027 message and as a warning for Release 2026; reserveType 99 without a description is a warning.
