Errors and fixes

• startAmount not in two decimals (multipleOf 0.01)Round amounts to two decimals before serialising. If you get this error on an amount that does have two decimals, the validator is at fault: computing multipleOf with floating-point numbers rejects valid amounts. AJV rejects 1234.57 by default and still rejects 1234567.89 with multipleOfPrecision 10. Count the decimals instead of dividing.
• Cohort sum deviates from the scheme totalCalculate the scheme total as the sum of the cohorts at the same valuation date, or agree with the receiver which difference is allowed. For message 1 the standard does not prescribe this reconciliation: according to the manual (section 3.2.1) the receiver can, if desired, make a total calculation, depending on what the parties agree. SIVI's own sample message has 100,000 next to a cohort sum of 135,000. The WTP Data Lab validator therefore reports a difference in message 1 as a warning. For message 2, Release 2027 does lay the reconciliation down: a cohort breakdown of the cashflow adds up to the amount at scheme level (manual section 6.3.1). There the validator reports a difference in netAmount as an error. It reports a difference in contributionAmount or withdrawalAmount as a warning: the inflow and outflow of a cohort also hold the shifts between cohorts (section 3.2.2), which cancel out in the net amount but not in inflow and outflow separately. In a Release 2026 message 2 every difference is a warning.
