VB-PUO v1.4.0: Release 2027 (final, 12 October 2026)
The biggest change since the first publication, final since 12 October 2026. The schemas migrated to JSON Schema draft 2020-12; message 15 Corporate Actions was added; messages 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 were discontinued; the ACB role disappeared; the manual describes one FPR model without a cohort pool; the switch was replaced by switchfrom and switchto; messages 2 and 3 got an SPR and an FPR route; message 14 carries several payments per scheme; afdDefinitionName is a fixed value again; the feedback message (001.02) handles duplicate messageIds; OpenAPI 1.0.11. SIVI replaced the pre-release of 17 July 2026 under the same tag and the same version number 001.05; that pre-release is now tag v1.4.0-prerelease.
Changes
- JSON Schema draft 2020-12, $defs, https references to the code lists on sivi.org; for AFDSWI and AFDCOA messages 5, 6 and 15 refer to the code-list file next to the schema.
- New: message 15 Corporate Actions (00557) with code list AFDCOA: 1 cash dividend, 2 stock dividend, 3 product change, 99 other (a rebate falls under 99).
- Discontinued: 00551, 00552a, 00552b, 00554, 00555a.
- ACB role discontinued; one FPR model, without a cohort pool (#124).
- switch replaced by switchfrom/switchto with positive amounts; per switch pair one order steers (#115, #116); switchType has the codes 1 and 2.
- Message 2: netAmount and netDate mandatory in every cashflow block, also per cohort; FPR route per investment portfolio.
- Message 3: FPR route with 0 to 99 investment portfolios per scheme, each with 0 to 9999 payments.
- Message 6: tradeQuantity, tradePrice, counterparty, broker, interestAmount, commissionAmount, clearingBroker and clearingBrokerCashAccount optional.
- Message 10: cohort-pool layer and fields dummyCashId, tradeQuantity, unitPrice, currencyExchangeRate removed.
- Message 13: NAV simplified.
- Message 14: 1 to 999 payments per scheme; collectionAccountIban up to 34 characters (#149, #135).
- afdDefinitionName a fixed value again: the file name of the schema with 001.00 (#140).
- Feedback 001.02: duplicate messageId, party.sender and party.receiver, originalMessageType with the ten active messages (00557 added).
- Consistency checks in manual section 6.3.1 (messages 2 and 3) and the new section 6.3.2 (messages 5 and 6); the SPR and FPR route in the new section 3.2.5.
- OAuth 2.0 fixed; x-api-key and x-jws-signature are options.
- 24 sample messages in a folder of their own per release on main.

Impact
Every FPR implementation must be rebuilt around messages 5, 6, 10, 13, 14 and 15 and the FPR route of messages 2 and 3; validators must handle draft 2020-12, the code lists on sivi.org and the code-list file next to the schema. Whoever built on the July pre-release must at least adjust afdDefinitionName, the netDate per cohort in message 2, message 15 (AFDCOA, no reportingPeriod) and the feedback message; message 14 may now carry full IBANs and several payments per scheme. The version number 001.05 stayed the same, so only the content shows which version a message follows. Still open at SIVI: #63 (contains for lists), #134 (AFDRES 16 to 18), #141 and #110.
