Flexible premium arrangement (FPR): orders (messages 5 and 6)
Who processes the order: broker, transfer agent or order desk, with the same messages 5 and 6
The party that processes an order can be a broker, transfer agent or order desk (manual section 4.2). That choice does not change the data exchange: message 5 goes from the PUO to the investment administrator and message 6 comes back from the investment administrator. Earlier versions of the manual still described orders via an order platform as a separate variant; the final Release 2027 has one FPR model (issue #124).
Steps
- OrderPUO → BAMessage 5 with the investment administrator as party.receiver; the processing party can be a broker, transfer agent or order desk. 00541
- ConfirmationBA → PUOMessage 6 reports the execution back to the PUO, whichever party processed the order. The message can name those parties in the fields broker, clearingBroker and counterparty (the transfer agent). 00542
Rules and consistency checks
- In Tabel 12 of the final manual the investment administrator is the receiver of message 5 and the sender of message 6; which party processes the order does not change that.
