The independent party that keeps the investment administration: positions, units and values per investment pool. In the standard the BA receives messages 1, 2 and 3, like the fiduciary manager, and the trade instruction (message 5). It sends return information (message 4), the order confirmation (message 6), control information (message 10), value information (message 13) and payment information (message 14); the PUO sends 10 and 14 only when it fulfils the BA role itself (issue #142).
