The series stays open; the content is not processed and the sender only gets feedback per received chunk.
Cause
A chunk was rejected (schema error in that part) or never arrived; the sender has no completeness signal set up.
Fix
Track the received sequence numbers per currentChunkId, report missing numbers and resend only the missing chunk.
